Law Practice

Nicole Nowlin, a member of the firm's Transportation Practice Group, specializes in complex civil litigation.  She has defended individuals and businesses in a wide variety of matters, including toxic tort actions, premise liability, automobile liability, products liability, and insurance coverage disputes.

Nicole began her legal career in Los Angeles working as an associate in a large health care law firm.  She defended doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice claims, with a special emphasis in defending birth injury suits.

Education & Bar Admissions

Nicole earned her B.A. in political science and history from Linfield College in 1999.  She earned her law degree from Willamette University in 2002.  Nicole served as a Form Editor for the Willamette Law Review.

She became a member of the California State Bar in 2002 and a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2005.  She is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. 

Professional Activities

Nicole is a member of the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel, the Multnomah County Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers, the Defense Research Institute, and the American Bar Association.

Community Activities and Interests

In addition to spending time with her husband and their two small children, Nicole enjoys hiking, traveling, and attending the University of Oregon football games.
